PKR Freerolls
Freeroll tournaments are great for players who might be on a tight budget but still want the opportunity to play poker for real money. They're also good for players who want the challenge of starting and building a poker bankroll from scratch.
Whatever your reason, PKR offers multiple opportunities for you to win real money without ever having to make a deposit. If this sounds like something you'd like to try, provided below is a current schedule for all the freerolls that PKR offers on their site. PKR Poker Freerolls
PKR hosts 11 freerolls everyday with $5 prize pools. They run every two hours with the first one of the day starting at 00:05 GMT. These freerolls will vary in format and variation. Some of them will be holdem while others will be PLO and PLO8. There is also 6-max and re-buy freerolls. Aside from winning free money, these freerolls give you a great opportunity to learn a new game without having to risk any of your money to do so.
Also once a day (at the time of writing) is an additional freeroll to satellites to larger events such as the APT Philippines. Winning these freerolls will take you to the first real money stage (of several). These freerolls will start at 13:00 GMT everyday.
On Saturdays, PKR runs the Club PKR $365 birthday freeroll. Anyone who has had a birthday during the last week will be able to participate. The birthday freeroll will start at 14:00 GMT every Saturday.
Last, if you become a Facebook fan, you can take part in one of 3 tournaments, one of which being a $100 freeroll. This freeroll starts every Tuesday at 18:45 GMT. You'll need to become a fan of PKR in order to get the password.
Premium Freerolls
Premium freerolls are freerolls that cost PKR points to enter. So while they're not technically free, they still aren't costing you anything out of pocket. And the prize pools are significantly more than the regular freerolls that PKR runs everyday. So they're definitely worth checking out if you have some points saved up.
On every day other than Wednesdays, you can participate in one of two freerolls; one freeroll will cost 100 points to enter and has a $100 prize pool. This will start every day at 9:45 GMT. The second freeroll will cost you 500 points, has a $500 prize pool and it starts at 19:35 GMT.
On Wednesdays, you'll still have the $100 freeroll at 9:45. But instead of the $500 freeroll, there is a $1,000 freeroll. This will cost 1,000 points to enter and will start at 19:45 GMT.
